Tips for Renting with A Classic Party Rental

Did you just get engaged? Are you finalizing your rentals for your wedding? No matter what stage you are at in the process of wedding planning, this is one blog post you don’t want to miss – Tips for Renting with A Classic Party Rental. This is Rental 101 when it comes to the wedding world.

Tips for Placing Your Rental Order:

  1. “How soon should I place my order?” We are asked this question all the time. Since everything is based on availability, we highly suggest that you place your order as soon as you know what you need.
  2. Order a higher number than is expected on your original reservation. It is always easier to decrease than increase quantities. You won’t be penalized for decreasing your numbers!
  3. Work with the venue or caterer to place your order, if possible. This will make the process easier on both ends.
  4. Make sure you have either a venue and/or caterer before placing an order. We’ll need to know how much space we are working with before we can get started.

According to WeddingWire, there are 10 things you need to remember when it comes to the rentals for your wedding. When it comes to renting items like tents, restrooms, electricity, lounge furniture, and dance floors, only certain venues require them. Here’s what we can help you with:

Tents:

There are a few reasons people use tents for a wedding. If the wedding is outside, they may rent a tent for shade or to keep people out of the rain. Another reason for a tent could be to add extra space, if needed. If you’re having your ceremony and/or reception outdoors you need some kind of contingency plan for bad weather. Even if you’re only needing a tent as a plan B, it will still need to be sized out and priced ahead of time.

Tables & Chairs:

We carry a wide range of tables and chairs in various styles, sizes, and price points. You’ll need chairs and tables for your ceremony as well as your reception, but don’t forget about about other spots where tables and chairs are needed. Keep these tables in mind when ordering:

  • Escort card table
  • Gift table
  • Cake table
  • Remembrance table
  • DJ or band table
  • Buffet and bar tables
  • Photo booth prop table

Linens and Napkins:

China, Flatware, & Glassware:

Always ask your caterer what they provide when it comes to dinner and bar service. If they do not provide these items for you, don’t fret, we have you covered. We have everything you need: plates, forks, knives, spoons, red and white wine glasses, water glasses, champagne flutes, highball glasses, rock glasses, and coffee cups.

Dance Floors:

Dance floors are included with some venues. If not, they can be rented in different sizes and styles. We offer a cherry oak finish or a classic black and/or white option. Designs can be added with projected lighting called a gobo, which can be rented from an audio visual company.
