Posted by: Gina Bayt on Feb 5, 2010

Rachel, of A Classic, is known as Rachel Ray around here. She is always making incredible dishes every night for dinner. If you ask Rachel on any given day what she is preparing for dinner that night, you might here…. roasted cornish hen with a rosemary wine sauce or bacon wrapped filet mignon topped with lobster meat. My point is, Rachel’s menu is sure to be a hit!

Rachel’s theme this year is Everything Souper:

Start with Dips, salsas, and spreads
Chili cheese dip
Pico de Gallo
Guacamole
Spicy hot black bean dip
Spinach artichoke dip
crab dip

Finger Foods- variety is key:
Nachos
Hot wings
Meatballs
Pigs in a blanket
Pizza
Veggie tray and fruit tray to balance all the hearty foods

Main Fare at halftime…time for souper foods

Tomato soup and grilled cheese sandwiches
Chicken tortilla soup with chicken quesadillas
French onion soup with roast beef sandwiches
Chili and Corn bread

Simple desserts like brownies and cookies

As you can see, Rachel is always busy cooking something delicious! Try a couple of your favorite dishes from each category and your party is sure to be a success! Go Colts!!
